I'm trying to find the title of this book I remembered. The main character is a girl. Her father works in the government, but gets killed. It seems like this boy who is "a rebel" I guess killed him. The girl find out that he didn't kill her father and has to work together with him. Her father left her a message on her computer where she has to touch her hand to the computer screen. I remember that the boy has a little brother that the government took. I think he had some kind of disease and the gov is looking for a cure? The little brother was labeled as subject X or something similar.

I know it was not a YA novel. I read it about 3 or 4 years ago.

SPOILER ALERT: The book ended with the boy forgetting his memories, but the girl and boy meet again later due to his little brother. They were both going to the same place. The girl remembered him, but he didn't know her.
